2019 Renault Duster Facelift Teased; Launch Soon
Renault Duster facelift will soon go on sale in India.
The first teaser picture of the 2019 Renault Duster facelift has been shared by the French carmaker. The teaser reveals the new, chromed grille, projector headlamps and a new sculpted bonnet of the SUV. In order to meet the pedestrian protection norms, the carmaker has also raised its bonnet line. The 2019 Duster will also get revised front bumper, newly-designed alloy wheels, mock skid plates and plastic cladding for the tailgate.
Interior will also receive some significant changes. The infotainment system, which is compatible to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, will get an update. Other changes will include a new steering wheel, rectangular AC vents on the centre console and chrome and a dash insert inside the cabin. The updated version will also receive a new Blue shade. No changes will be made under the hood. That means, the 2019 Renault Duster facelift will continue to come with a 106bhp, 1.5L petrol and a 85bhp/108bhp, 1.5L diesel engine. Though, the carmaker might discontinue the 85bhp version of the diesel powertrain. While the petrol models will come with a 5-speed and a CVT gearbox options, the diesel variants will be available with a 6-speed manual and an AMT unit. Official launch date of the new Duster facelift is yet to be announced, though it’s likely to hit showrooms in coming weeks. Prices of the SUV will remain competitive. Currently, the SUV comes in the price range of Rs 7.99 lakh – Rs 12.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan-India).
