2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Leaked Ahead of July 25 Debut
We informed you earlier that the 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport facelift will make its world debut on July 25, 2019 in Thailand. This is basically the mid-life facelift of the outgoing model, which was launched in 2015. The updated model will also arrive in our market by the end of this year or early next year.
Unlike the current model with rounded front profile, the 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comes with sharper and aggressive profile. The design is inspired by the updated Triton, featuring the brand’s signature Dynamic Shield front design. It gets the two-tier front light setup and more powerful front design. Similar to the Eclipse Cross, it gets new driving lamps positioned below the main headlamps. Design highlights include new bumper, newly designed grille and skid plate. The rear profile of the 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comes with new tail-lights with new graphics, new bumper and newly added skid plate. The company has already released the teaser video of the Pajero Sport, which shows new digital instrument console and new climate control panel. The cabin layout remains the same, featuring the black scheme with silver treatment on some parts.
The India-spec Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is likely to be powered by a BS-VI compliant 2.4-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This powertrain churns out a maximum power output of 181PS and a peak torque of 430Nm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox along with a 4WD system will come as standard.
