2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC Facelift Launch Price Rs 52.75 Lakh
Mercedes-Benz India today rolled out the GLC facelift with subtle styling updates and BS6-compliant powertrains. The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC facelift comes in two variants – 200 petrol and 200d 4Matic diesel – priced at Rs 52.75 lakh and Rs 57.75 lakh respectively (all, ex-showroom). In India, the updated SUV will take on BMW X3, Audi Q5, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Volvo XC60.
Exterior styling has been revised with the slightly tweaked LED headlamps, a new front grille, revised front and rear bumpers, new air intakes and re-designed taillamps. Now, the SUV comes with alloy wheels ranging from 17-inch to 19-inch.
Inside, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC facelift gets sporty black interior theme with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen with the latest version of Mercedes’ MBUX infotainment system supporting ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice command interface. There is a large central touchpad integrated on the centre console. The centre console comes with three finishing options – piano lacquer finish, walnut wood finish and open-pore ash wood finish.
As mentioned above, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC facelift comes with the BS6-ready petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged motor pushing out a maximum power of 197bhp and a peak torque of 300Nm. The diesel model gets a 2.0-litre engine that’s good enough for 190bhp and 400Nm of torque. Both motors are paired to a 9 G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
