2019 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Official Bookings Open

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has officially started taking pre-orders for the new-generation WagonR hatchback that will see a release on 23rd January, 2019. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle by paying a token sum of Rs 11,000. The new Maruti WagonR 2019 will be made available in three trims – L, V and Z (new) – within estimated price range of Rs 4.50 lakh – Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
Details of the new Maruti WagonR 2019 have already been surfaced on the web. As per the leaked information, the hatchback will come with petrol powertrain options – the existing 1.0L and the Swift sourced 1.2L unit. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT (Auto Gear Shift). For the first time, the WagonR will get the LPG kit. The list of standard features will include 13-inch steel wheels, door open warning, manual AC unit, speed alert system, rear parking sensors, driver’s side airbag with optional passenger side airbag and ABS with EBD. Features such as front fog lamps, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, rear defogger, washer and wiper and dual front airbags will be reserved for the top-spec trim. Proportionally, the new Maruti WagonR 2019 will also witness minor changes. The new model measures 3655mm in length, 1620mm in width and 1675mm in height with a wheelbase of 2435mm. This makes it 19mm longer, 145mm wider and 5mm taller than the outgoing model.
