The new-generation Maruti Suzuki WagonR will be launched on 23rd January, 2019.

Ahead the official launch of the new-generation WagonR (23rd January), Maruti Suzuki has been releasing multiple teaser videos revealing its design and feature details. The latest one shows the new interior, dashboard and a SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system of the vehicle. The new Maruti WagonR 2019 will get an all-new dashboard with dual-tone (Black and Grey) treatment.

Maruti’s SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system has been integrated in the centre of the dashboard. It’s likely to support both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with the navigation system, USB, AUX-IN and Bluetooth connectivity. The round air vents are placed vertically on either side of the infotainment system. The new Maruti WagonR 2019 also gets a new steering wheel with mounted controls, new instrument cluster, a larger glovebox and manual AC unit. Read: New Maruti WagonR Vs Old – How Different Are They?

Comprehensive changes have also been made to its design. The new Maruti WagonR 2019 features new headlamps, a more pronounced front grille, a floating roof, black treatment in the C-pillar and vertically stacked new taillamps. The 2019 WagonR will come in a choice of six colour schemes – Supreme White, Metallic Brown Silky Silver, Magma Grey, Poolside Blue (new) and Autumn Orange (new). Read: New Maruti WagonR – 5 Key Changes

Based on the HEARTECT platform, the new Maruti WagonR 2019 will be made available with two petrol powertrains – a 1.2-litre K12B four-cylinder and a 1.0-litre K10B three-cylinder unit. The Swift-sourced 1.2L motor delivers 82bhp with 113Nm of torque, and the existing 10L unit makes 68bhp with 90Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission will be standard across the carline, while a 5-speed AGS unit will be optional.
