2019 Maruti Suzuki Ignis facelift is priced from Rs 4.79 lakh to Rs 7.14 lakh (ex, Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki India today rolled out the 2019 model year of the Ignis with new safety features and slightly revised styling. The new Maruti Ignis 2019 facelift carlinecomes in four trims – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha – priced from Rs 4.79 lakh to Rs 7.14 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi). That means, the updated version is up to Rs 16,000 more expensive than the previous model.

The new Maruti Ignis 2019 facelift receives reverse parking assist, high speed alert system and co-driver seatbelt reminder as standard safety features. The Zeta and Alpha trims of the new Maruti Ignis 2019 facelift are exclusively offered with the roof rails. While the updated model is compliant for frontal offset and side impact crash test norms, the pedestrian safety crash regulations are yet to be introduced.

The new Maruti Ignis 2019 facelift comes in six colour schemes – Nexa Blue, Glistening Grey, Silky Silver, Pearl Arctic White, Tinsel Blue and Uptown Red – along with the three dual-tone shades – Tinsel Blue with Pearl Arctic White, Tinsel Blue with Midnight Black and Uptown Red with Midnight Black. Read – Maruti Suzuki Could Go All Petrol & CNG

Mechanically, the new Maruti Ignis 2019 facelift remains unchanged. The updated model continues to come with the same 1.2L K-Series petrol engine that’s good for 82bhp with 113Nm of torque. All variants of the Ignis come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while an AMT transmission is offered on the Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims.
