2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Teased; Bookings Open
One can pre-book the new Baleno by paying a sum of Rs 11,000.
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has released the first teaser picture of the upcoming Baleno facelift ahead of its official launch. The carmaker has also started taking pre-orders for the hatchback at a token amount of Rs 11,000. While the official launch date is yet to be announced, it is likely to hit showrooms in coming days.
The company says the new Maruti Baleno 2019 facelift receives “new and aggressive front design” and “class-leading features” that will help it “retain its leadership status in the segment”. Interior of the new Maruti Baleno 2019 facelift has witnessed minor changes including new dashboard and seat fabric. Though, it gets several new safety fitments that will soon be mandatory for all four-wheelers in the country. The hatchback carline is already available with the standard dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and Isofix child seat anchors. The lower variants of the new Maruti Baleno 2019 facelift are likely to get more features.
No changes will be made to its engine setup. The new Maruti Baleno 2019 facelift will continue to source its power from the 83bhp, 1.2L petrol and 74bhp, 1.3L diesel engines. Transmission choices will also remain unchanged – i.e. a 5-speed manual and a CVT (with select petrol trims).
