2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Bookings Open At Dealership Level

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) will launch two new models this month – the next-generation WagonR hatchback and Baleno facelift. While the former is confirmed to debut on coming 23rd, the latter one is reported to go on sale on 27th January, 2019. However, the Indo-Japanese carmaker hasn’t yet revealed launch date of the new Maruti Baleno 2019 facelift.

Most of the Nexa dealers across the nation have started to take pre-orders for the new Baleno facelift. As per a latest report, buyers can pre-book the hatchback by paying a sum of Rs 11,000. While the current model of the Baleno comes in price range of Rs 5.47 lakh – Rs 8.52 lakh, the updated version will be priced slightly premium.

For 2019 model year, the Maruti Baleno will see minor design changes including LED projector headlamps instead of Bi-Xenon halogen units, LED fog lamps, rain sensing wipers and cruise control. It will also receive speed alert system and speed sensing door locks. Inside, the new Maruti Baleno 2019 might get a new instrument cluster dials, dashboard with faux wood inserts and premium seat fabric. Mechanically, the new Maruti Baleno 2019 won’t see any changes. The hatchback’s petrol model will continue to use the 83bhp, 1.2L motor and the diesel version will derive power from a 74bhp, 1.3L turbocharged unit. The new Maruti Baleno RS will also retain the existing 1.0L, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. While the diesel varaints will get a manual transmission only, the petrol models will be available with a manual and an automatic gearbox options.
