Maruti Suzuki yesterday launched the 2019 Maruti Baleno facelift in the country at a starting price of Rs 5.45 lakh. The company hasn’t introduced the updated version of the performance oriented Baleno RS. If media reports are to be believed, the Maruti Suzuki has also updated the RS version of the Baleno hatchback. The 2019 Maruti Baleno RS will be priced at Rs 8.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Similar to the standard Baleno, the RS version also witnessed a price rise. The Baleno RS directly rivals the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, which is powered by a 1.2-litre TSI engine producing 104bhp of power and 175Nm of torque. This model is equipped with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and is around 63,000 expensive than the Baleno RS.
