The 2019 Maruti Baleno facelift is available in 11 variants priced between Rs 5.45 lakh and Rs 8.77 lakh

The 2019 Maruti Baleno facelift has finally been launched in the Indian market. It is available in 4 trim levels – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha – in total of 11 variants in petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol version is priced in the range of Rs 5.45 lakh – Rs 8.77 lakh, the diesel Baleno cost Rs 6.60 lakh for base model and Rs 8.60 lakh for the top-end variant. All the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The 2019 Maruti Baleno is available in six exterior paint schemes – Pearl Arctic White, Premium Silver, Nexa Blue, Autumn Orange, Phoenix Red and Magma Grey. The hatchback comes with subtle changes to the exterior and interior. It comes with a sporty front with wider stance, featuring new grille with dynamic 3D detailing. Other changes include wide sculpted detailing of fog lamp garnish, LED projector headlamps with daytime running lights and newly developed two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels. Presenting the all New Baleno, Mr R S Kalsi, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki, said, “Baleno has been a resounding success for Maruti Suzuki in the highly competitive premium hatchback segment. Inside the cabin, the Baleno continues with the Black scheme with contrasting Blue detaling and dual tone seat fabric. It is equipped with new SmartPlay studio connected infotainment system, which is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Voice recognition, parking camera, Bluetooth audio and telephony, etc. It also offers SmartPlay Studio App for navigation with live traffic updates and vehicle information and alerts. The Maruti Baleno is based on the Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform that also underpins the Swift twins, new WagonR, Ignis and Ertiga. It gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, pre-tensioner and force limiter seat belts with reminder, ISOFIX child restraint system, speed alert system and rear parking sensors as standard safety features. The Maruti Baleno 2019 is available with 2 engine options – a 82bhp, 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and a 74bhp, 1.3-litre DDiS diesel. A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to front wheels come as standard, while the petrol engine also gets CVT automatic as optional.
