2019 Maruti Baleno Facelift Design Changes, Features & More Details Emerge

Interested buyers can pre-book the 2019 Maruti Baleno facelift at Rs 11,000.

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the updated version of its high-selling premium hatchback, Baleno. Bookings for the hatchback have already been started at a token amount of Rs 11,000. The mid-life facelift model will continue to be sold via the carmaker’s premium dealership network, Nexa.

The Maruti Baleno facelift will be made available in total of 11 variants and six exterior colour options. The company is also working on the mid-life facelift of the Baleno RS, which is expected to be launched in the mid-2019. In terms of design changes, nothing much has been changed in the Baleno facelift. Though, it receives subtle revision to offer fresh feel. The hatchback will receive slightly revised front and rear bumpers. Front bumper is revised with more angular design for fog lamps.

The 2019 Maruti Baleno facelift will also receive LED projector headlamps, while the halogens will be restricted to the entry-level models only. The front grille has also been modified and it now has 3D graphic design. The interior of the hatchback has also been revised, now featuring new blue and black combo seat upholstery. The Alpha grade gets UV cut glass windows, follow me home function and LED daytime running lights. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder and speed alert will come as standard safety pack.

The refreshed Baleno will be equipped with a new SmartPlay Studio Infotainment system, which will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 2019 Maruti Baleno will not receive any mechanical upgrade. It will be available with the same 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine options.
