2019 Jeep Wrangler Launched In India; Priced At Rs 63.94 Lakh
The fourth generation Jeep Wrangler has finally arrived in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 63.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India), the 2019 Jeep Wrangler has been made available in the fully loaded Sahara trim only. Similar to the previous model, the new one is being produced at Jeep’s Toledo plant in the USA and brought to India as a CBU (Completely Built Up) unit.
Comprehensive changes have been made inside the 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The SUV’s new model gets an 8.4-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 7.0-inch multi info display, dual zone climate control, rear AC vents, ambient lighting, multiple 12V sockets and USB ports and a tyre pressure monitoring system. For safety provision, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler offers dual airbags, ABS (anti lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution), electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, hill start assist and traction control as standard fitments.

Under the hood, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler features a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The gasoline unit pushes out a maximum power of 270bhp against 400Nm of torque. The SUV comes with the four-wheel-drive (4WD) system. The Wrangler that currently comes with the BS4-compliant engine, will receive the BS6 ready petrol motor at a later stage.
