The 2019 Jeep Renegade facelift comes with styling tweaks that gives it a neo-retro styled fascia. The front and rear of the spotted model was completely covered in thick cloth, but spyshots suggest that the SUV could get styling changes in-line with new Jeep Wrangler’s. The small SUV could come with a Wrangler-like front face with new grille and headlamp with LED elements. Also See – 2018 Jeep Compass Price & Other Details
The side profile looks largely identical to the existing model, but it will get slightly revised body cladding and a new set of alloy wheels. At the back, the updated Renegade will receive subtle design changes such as revised tail-lamp design with LED inserts and revised rear bumper.
Under the bonnet, the Renegade facelift is likely to get a 140bhp, 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. Both front-wheel and four-wheel-drive variants are likely to come in India. With heavy localisation, the new model is expected to be priced aggressively. It will challenge the likes of Hyundai Creta, Renault Captur and the upcoming Nissan Kicks. Initially, the Renegade will have a localisation level of up to 65 per cent which will be increased by up to 80 per cent at a later stage.
