Ahead of global debut, new spy images of the Renegade facelift have emerged online. The fresh spy shots reveal the front and side profile of this small sized SUV. To be positioned below the Compass, the Jeep Renegade will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster. Reports claim that the company is aiming at high-level of localisation to achieve aggressive pricing, and is expected to be priced as low as Rs 10 lakh for the base model. Jeep Renegade Facelift Images

The 2019 Jeep Renegade facelift will receive cosmetic upgrades to exterior as well as interior. Majority of the changes will be offered to the front profile, featuring new headlight design. The headlights are more squared off around the surrounds, while the projector section is circular. Report claims that Jeep might install a new sensor for affianced driver assist in the grille. The inlet gets larger and extra squared off, while the fog lights are now re-positioned. The lower bumper has been re-profiled with new holes in the lower fascia. The changes are only cosmetic in nature, as the updated model won’t receive any changes under the hood. Latest report claims that the global model could also receive a new 2.0-litre petrol engine coupled to a 48kW electric motor. The India-spec model will share mechanics with the Compass SUV. While the petrol version will get the 1.4-litre turbocharged MultiAir unit, the oil burner will be a de-tuned version of the 2.0-litre MJD unit.
