Honda has revealed the updated the HR-V crossover for the European market. The new Honda HRV 2019 comes with enhanced exterior styling, upmarket interior and a range of advanced technologies. For 2019 model year, the crossover receives a new, high-gloss chrome treated grille replacing the gloss black unit, revised front bumper with deeper air intakes housing the circular fog lamps, projector LED headlamps and redesigned LED DRLs (daytime running lights).
Round the back, the new Honda HRV 2019 crossover features a dark chrome garnish cross the tailgate mirrors, chrome tipped exhaust and rear lights with darker lens casings. The alloy wheel design has also been revised. In the European market, the crossover will be offered with 8 colour schemes including a new Midnight Blue Beam Metallic shade. Interior of the new Honda HRV 2019 has witnessed material quality improvement and front seats with better cushioning. The leather and fabric seats combination has been exclusively offered on the top-spec trim. The Magic seat system has been carried over from the old model. Honda claims that the NVH levels of the new HRV is relatively low than before, thanks to the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system. Engine setup of the Euro-spec new Honda HRV 2019 includes the naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol motor that’s good for 130PS and 155Nm of torque at 4,600rpm. It can accelerate 0-100kmph in 10.7 seconds when paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and 11.2 seconds with the CVT automatic (optional) transmission. Mileage of the crossover is rated at 5.3l/100km. Production of the new Honda HRV 2019 is already underway in Europe. Official deliveries of the crossover will begin from October, 2018.
