Hero MotoCorp has recently launched 3 new motorcycles – XPulse 200 adventure, XPulse 200T tourer and the Xtreme 200S fully-faired in the country. The company plans to launch more products in the premium category ranging from 150cc to 400cc. Apart from motorcycles, Hero is also aiming to expand its scooter range in India. The company will soon launch 2 new scooters – the 2019 Pleasure and the Maestro Edge 125.

The 2019 Hero Pleasure 110 has recently been caught while doing promo shoots. The scooter will receive design changes along with added features. It will be powered by the same 110cc engine that currently powers the Duet. However, this engine will be tuned to meet the future emission norms. Paired to an automatic gearbox, this powertrain produces 8.15PS of power at 7,500rpm and 8.7Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. While powering the Destini, the 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine produces 8.8PS of power at 6,750rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm.

Not just fuel injected version, Hero is likely to offer the carb version of the scooter. This model will only be available till the end of March 2020. Government of India will implement the new BSVI emission norms from April 1, 2020. All the motorcycles and scooters will need to meet the new emission norms. Both the scooters will receive the front disc brake option along with combi braking system. Suspension mechanism will comprise of telescopic forks at the front and a single-shock absorber at the rear.

The new Hero Pleasure is likely to cost around Rs 50,000, which is around 5,000 more than the outgoing model. The Maestro Edge 125 is expected to be priced around Rs 57,000. For the reference, the current Maestro Edge 110cc scooter is priced at Rs 51,530.
