2019 Hero HF Deluxe With IBS Launched; Priced at Rs 49,067
The 2019 Hero HF Deluxe gets Integrated Braking System (IBS).
The home-grown two-wheeler maker has introduced the 2019 Hero HF Deluxe entry-level commuter at Rs 49,067 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike gets some new features along with additional safety fitments to meet the upcoming safety norms that will be enforced from April 1, 2019. The 2019 model year of the commuter gets a larger 130mm drum brake replacing the 110mm drum units. The bigger brakes reduce the stopping distance of the bike. The 2019 Hero HF Deluxe also receives Integrated Braking System (IBS) that will soon be compulsory for all two-wheelers with below 125cc capacity engine. The bike features a twin-pod instrument cluster with blue backlit and warning lamps. Other highlights include alloy wheels, high beam, a warning lamp for gear’s neutral position and side stand.
For power, the 2019 Hero HF Deluxe has 97.2cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with i3S technology that automatically switches off and when not required and switch on when you push the clutch. This motor, with a 4-speed gearbox, delivers a peak power of 8.24bhp at 8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 8.05Nm at 5,000rpm. The commuter also gets a start/stop system. No other changes have been made to the bike. Though, it gets slightly updated body graphics. The 2019 Hero HF Deluxe continues to be available with five dual-tone colour options – Black with Purple, Black with Red, Heavy Grey with Black, Heavy Grey with Green (new) and Candy Blazing Red.
