India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. today launched the 2018 Yamaha FZS FI motorcycle in the Indian market. The company claims that the new FZS with Yamaha’s Blue Core technology and improved braking system will offer unmatched experience and performance efficiency. Powering the motorcycle is the 149cc, air-cooled, fuel injected 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 13bhp of power and 12.80Nm of torque. The 2018 Yamaha FZS FI motorcycle now features 220mm hydraulic single rear disc brake and 282mm front brake. The addition of disc brakes will improve stability and control of the new motorcycle. Adding to the aesthetics, the FZS-FI now has a sporty wheel design along with a completely new mirror design. The same is available in a vibrant ‘Armada Blue’ colour. Speaking on the launch, Mr. Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Yamaha claims that the new 2018 Yamaha FZS FI motorcycle is a response to the needs and requirements of Yamaha’s customers, prioritising performance efficiency and a safe commute while remaining true to the Macho image. Talking about features, the new naked streetfighter gets advanced midship muffler, skid-free split seat, multi-functional instrument panel with Eco indicator and others.
