2018 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2 Revealed With New Design Highlights
The 2018 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2 model has been revealed for the Thailand market.
The 2018 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2 model has been revealed for the Thailand market. The updated model is scheduled to be launched in the end of 2018. It comes with cosmetic upgrades to the exterior along with new TRD Sportivo 2 badging.
Upfront is a new bumper and re-styled grille. There is a brushed metal finished around the grille, which replaces the blacked-out treatment in the previous model. Moreover, the blacked-out section below the grille is replaced with a coloured unit. The bumper is aggressive in nature, featuring lower and wider air-dam with red highlights, a splitter around bottom lip and string air-vents along with sleeker fog lamps. The brushed metal finish can also be seen at the rear. The bumper design is also new, featuring blacked out lower section. Faux diffuser has also been added along with lower edge and larger reflectors. Similar to the previous model, the Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2 gets blacked-out roof and pillars, and contrasting outside rear view mirrors. The SUV now rides on new dual-tone 20-inch alloys. The cabin of the 2018 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2 remains largely unchanged, featuring the black and red treatment. The red inserts can be seen on the dashboard, door cards and seat centres. The SUV is powered by the same 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 174bhp and 450Nm of torque. It will come with a choice of two drive systems – 2WD or 4WD. The same model is also expected to arrive in India in early 2019.
