The Indian arm of Toyota Motor Corporation has rolled out the 2018 model year of the Camry hybrid saloon. Priced at Rs 37.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2018 Toyota Camry hybrid receives a pack of new features; however, the engine mechanism remains unchanged.

Inside the cabin, the 2018 Toyota Camry hybrid gets dual-tone (Black and Tan) theme instead of the Black and Beige scheme. 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid Interior

For 2018 model year, the saloon receives a 12-speaker JBL audio system, a new three-spoke multi function steering wheel (replacing the four-spoke unit), Head-Up Display (HUD) unit, wireless charging pad for smartphone, collapsible rear seat headrest and tyre pressure monitoring system. Other features include three-zone automatic climate control with nano-ion generator, rear armrests with recline, audio and temperature control, etc.

The nine airbags are standard on the carline. Visually, the 2018 Toyota Camry hybrid looks exactly similar to the previous model. 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid Price in India

Similar to the old model, the new one is available in six colour options, namely, Dark Brown Mica Metallic, True Blue Mica Metallic, Attitude Black, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic and While Pearl Crystal Shine.

As mentioned above, no mechanical changes have been made to the car. The 2018 Toyota Camry hybrid continues to derive its power from the same 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine coupled to an electric motor. This hybrid powertrain delivers a peak power of 202bhp and 213Nm of torque. Power is delivered via electronically-controlled CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox.
