The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 facelift is expected to share exterior design from the Chinese spec Suzuki Alivio facelift

Maruti’s upcoming Ciaz facelift is likely to take inspiration from China bound Suzuki Alivio, reports in media suggests. The images of Alivio sedan surfaced recently on the inter-web and looks like Marati Ciaz facelift could borrow some exterior elements from the China-bound model. As can be seen in the images, the front end of Alivio features a refreshed single unit front grille. The bumper in front is all new and gets new black fog lamp enclosures along with a thin black strip on the lower lip. The black strips right above the fog lamps seem to be used for the LED DRLs on the top-spec variants. Changes on the rear include a new bumper with dual tone colour theme, subtly tweaked taillamps with a larger stop lamp.

While Alivio will soon be launched in China, it is expected that Maruti Suzuki could use some of the bits for the upcoming Ciaz facelift, set for launch sometime in 2018. Though, it is just a possibility as Changan Suzuki has only made China-specific designs and facelifts. Also Read – Upcoming Maruti Cars In India

The 1.3-litre oil burner is likely to be replaced by Suzuki’s new 1.5-litre diesel unit to bring it on par with competition.
