2018 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will make their India debut on June 28, 2018. Official bookings for both the SUVs were commenced in April, 2018. While the 2018 Range Rover Sport comes with a price tag of Rs 99.48 lakh, the 2018 Range Rover has been priced at Rs 1.74 crore onwards. All prices are ex-showroom, India.
Both the SUVs will come with multiple V6 and V8 petrol and diesel engine options. There are two diesel motors – a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged and a 4.4-litre turbocharged V8. The petrol model makes use of a 3.0-litre Supercharged V6 engine that’s good enough for 335bhp and 450Nn of torque. The range-topping model comes with a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 motor pushing out 518bhp and 625Nm of torue. All powertrains are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. 2018 model year of the SUVs have witnessed several design and styling changes. Face of the vehicles have been adorned by a newly-designed atlas mesh grille and Pixel-laser LED headlights. Step inside, and you will notice the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. The company is also offering the new Executive Class rear seating option with both the SUVs. Features such as heated seats with ‘Hot-stone’ massage function, power deployable centre console and gesture-controlled sunblind further enhance its comfort quotient. The air cabin ionization system purifies and cleanses the cabin air and make occupant feel comfortable. The SUVs also get adaptive cruise control with Queue Assist.
