2018 Porsche Cayenne Launched; Prices Start At Rs 1.19 Crore
2018 Porsche Cayenne Base and e-Hybrid variants are priced at Rs 1.19 crore and Rs 1.58 crore respectively.
Porsche has rolled out the new-generation Cayenne SUV in the Indian market. While the range-topping Turbo variant was launched earlier this year, the company now introduced the Base and e-Hybrid variants priced at Rs 1.19 crore and Rs 1.58 crore respectively. All prices are ex-showroom. The 2018 Porsche Cayenne SUV receives comprehensive changes along with a revised chassis (Volkswagen Group’s MLB-Evo platform).
The new 2018 Porsche Cayenne has also witnessed minor dimensional changes. Compared to its predecessor, the new model is longer, wider and around 65kg lighter. However, the wheelbase of the SUV remains unchanged.

Engine setup of the 2018 Porsche Cayenne includes V6 and V8 motors. The Base version derives power from a 3.0-litre single-turbo V6 that’s good for 335bhp and 450Nm of torque. While the Cayenne S makes use of a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 generating 433bhp with 550Nm, the Turbo variant comes with a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 motor pushing out 542bhp with 770Nm of torque. The E-Hybrid variant, on the other hand, has a combination of a 3.0-litre V6 engine and an electric motor. Its combined power and torque outputs stand at 462bhp and 700Nm respectively. The hybrid version can do 0-100kmph in 5 seconds with a top speed of 253kmph. The 2018 Porsche Cayenne gets a newly-developed 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission. Some of its key updates include Porsche Dynamic Light System (PLDS)/ LED Matrix Beam headlamps, a new 12.3-inch touchscreen system, instrument console with a central analogue tachometer and two 7-inch full-HD displays, lane keeping assist with traffic sign recognition, Lane Changing Assist, traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control and park assist.
