The new S-Class facelift model was recently spotted on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway during its emission test rounds. The test mule was fitted with an emission testing apparatus that measures exhaust emissions while driving the car in the rear life conditions. The spy picture reveal its minor rear details including the new LED tail lights and revised bumper.

The SUV carline will include the range-topping AMG model along with convertible, coupe and the long-wheelbase Maybach versions. Globally, Mercedes will offer the new S-Class with three all-new diesel and petrol 6-cylinder in-line engines and a new V8 twin turbo petrol motor.

The Mercedes-Benz S 350 d 4MATIC will be the most powerful diesel engine in the company’s product lineup. This new 6-cylinder oil burner has been designed to comply with future emission norms. Visually, the sedan will see minor updates. Upfront, the car gets a new radiator grille, revised bumper with pronounced air intakes and new multi-beam LED headlamps (optional). The long wheelbase and V12 engined version of the saloon get additional chrome finish vertical bars in the front grille. The car gets new light alloy wheels with diameters between 17 to 20 inches.
