Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has rolled out the first mid-life facelift of its popular Ciaz sedan. Priced at Rs 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Maruti Ciaz 2018 gets an all-new SHVS petrol engine along with minor styling and feature upgrades. Besides this, the carmaker is also offering two accessories packages with the sedan – the Collection Opulence and the Collection Affluence.
The Collection Opulence accessory kit includes premium body cover, body side moulding, illuminated door sill guards, number plate garnish, premium beige tissue holder, interior styling kit, door visors, designer floor mat, leather steering cover, Cityscape premium finish seat cover and beige cushions. The Collection Affluence package, on the other hand, consists of illuminated door sill guards, body side moulding, leather steering cover, door visors, premium beige cushions, cross leather highlight seat cover, premium carpet mats and interior styling kit. One can also choose from the multiple infotainment accessories such as touchscreen multimedia player, rear seat entertainment system, 2-way coaxial speaker, 5-channel amplifier and a 1000-watt subwoofer. There are several leather and premium fabric seat cover options. Besides this, the Indo-Japanese carmaker is offering a range of exterior accessories such as diamond arrow finish alloy wheels, backdoor garnish, rear windshield spoiler, door visor garnish insert and a trunk lid spoiler. As mentioned in the beginning, the new Maruti Ciaz 2018 facelift comes with a new 1.5-litre SHVS petrol engine that’s good for 103bhp. The new motor is slightly more powerful and frugal than the old one. It delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 21.56kmpl (MT). The sedan is also available with the same old 1.3L SHVS diesel powertrain.
