2018 Indian Scout Bobber will go on sale in the US and Canadian markets in coming September.
The 2018 Indian Scout Bobber comes with a 1131 cc, v-twin engine making 100bhp and 97.7Nm.
Further expanding its Scout cruiser family, Indian Motorcycle has introduced the blacked-out, stripped down – 2018 Indian Scout Bobber. Wearing subtle aesthetic updates, the new model looks more muscular and aggressive. The new Scout Bobber will go on sale in the US and Canadian markets in coming September.
Though its India launch details are yet to be announced, it is likely to arrive towards the end of this year. In terms of pricing, the new Scout Bobber will be positioned above the Indian Scout and is estimated to be priced around Rs 12.99 (ex-showroom). Read About – 2017 Indian Roadmaster Classic
For 2018 model year, the motorcycle receives chopped fenders, dual-tone genuine leather bobber seat with new “Scount” badge marks, knobby tyres and lots of matte-black treatment all over the body. The fuel tank badge is all-new with bold block lettering on it. Features such as smaller bar-end mirrors and slightly shroud headlamp contribute to its stripped down look.
The bike gets new engine covers, blacked-out exhaust shields and new tracker handlebars and footpegs, which have been sifted 38mm rearwards to the new cartridge forks up front. This cruiser will come in a choice of five paint options – Thunder Black, Bronze Smoke, Star Silver Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red and Thunder Black Smoke.
The braking system remains unchanged. Powering the 2018 Indian Scout Bobber is the same 1131 cc, v-twin engine that makes a top power of 100bhp and 97.7Nm of torque. Transmitting power to the wheels is a 6-speed gearbox.
