The 2018 Honda Jazz facelift is all set to go on sale in the Indian market on July 19. Ahead of its launch, Honda has teased the updated model on its social media pages. The new teaser also introduces the company’s new online contest, while showing the updated headlamps. Most of details regarding variants and changes have already been leaked on the internet. The updated model comes with cosmetic design and interior changes along with added features.

Minimal changes will be seen on the exterior design of the SUV. The overall front design remains the changes, except for the updated headlamps. The global model on the other side, comes with revised front fascia. Adding to it, the Jazz top-end variant will not receive the trademark magic seats. The Jazz is currently the most practical and versatile product in its category, featuring magic seats that can be folded down completely in multiple configurations to create space. The interior of the 2018 Honda Jazz receives maximum updates in the form of new features. It comes equipped with new features like keyless entry, push-start/stop button, power boot released, front centre armrest, etc as standard. Even the mid-variant is now equipped with cruise control. The new Jazz will be available in 3 trim levels – S, V and VX. The company has discontinued the E, S and SV variants for the petrol and E and V trims for the diesel. The 2018 Honda Jazz also receives a new 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice command. Mechanically, the Jazz facelift will remain unchanged. It will continue to feature the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel. While the former is capable of producing 89bhp and 110Nm of torque, the oil burner is good for 99bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels will come as standard, while a CVT unit will be offered on the petrol trim.
