Japanese two-wheeler automaker, Honda has introduced the updated version of the Activa 125 in India. Priced at Rs 59,621 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Activa 125 is around 2,000 expensive than the older model. The updated model comes with subtle design upgrades and new features. The new 2018 Honda Activa 125 comes equipped with LED headlight, revised semi-digital instrument console (with an eco-mode and service duel indicator), four-in-one ignition, and a separate switch to open the seat. In terms of design upgrades, the premium scooter comes with a chrome muffler cover (on the top-spec disc variant), and grey alloy wheels on the mid and top-spec variant. The 2018 Honda Activa 125 scooter is now available with two new matte paint jobs – ‘matte crust metallic’ and ‘matte selene silver metallic’. An underseat mobile charger is being offered as an optional. The 2018 Honda Activa 125 is equipped with a 3-step adjustable monoshock unit at the rear, while the front gets telescopic forks. It is powered by a 124.9cc single-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 8.52bhp and a peak torque of 10.54Nm. While the base and mid-level variants get drum brakes, the top-spec model features front disc brake. CBS (Combi Braking System) is available as standard.
