Hero MotoCorp has introduced the 2018 model year of the HF Dawn commuter at Rs 37,400 (ex-showroom, Bhubaneshwar). Initially, the bike is made available in Orissa only. The launch is expected to take place state-wise in phased manner. The 2018 Hero HF Dawn receives minor cosmetic and feature upgrades along with a new engine.

Powering the bike’s new model is a 97.2 cc OHC engine that makes power worth 8.24bhp (8.36PS) at 8,000rpm against 8.05Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The black treatment on the headlight nacelle, tail section and rims give a refreshing look to the bike. You will also notice black shade on engine and its guard, suspension, drum brakes and chain cover. There are minimal monikers on the tank and side boxes. The 2018 HF Dawn carries a weight of 105kgs, and offers a fuel tank capacity of 9.5-litre. The commuter gets telescopic fork and twin hydraulic shock absorbers with two-step adjustability suspension unit at the front and rear axles respectively. Its braking system includes 130mm front and 110mm rear drum units.
