Toyota Fortuner India launch delay

Toyota will soon launch the new TRD Sportivo variant of the Fortuner, and new features on the Innova Crysta

After launching its longstanding Innova and Fortuner in an all-new avatar, Toyota is now said to roll-out 2018 version of both the models this month, reports in media suggest. The new update will primarily include feature update as per leaks that went viral on the inter-web. One of the major changes to the Fortuner carline will be a new TRD Sportivo variant on the 4×2 AT diesel grade. Currently, Fortuner comes in six options including two petrol variants in manual & automatic versions with a 4×2 drivetrain and four diesel trims in MT & AT options with a 4×4 system on select grades. In addition, the model will receive new bits such as LED fog lamps across line-up and an engine start-stop system on diesel automatic variants. While Toyota India is set to add TRD Sportivo variant to its top-selling premium SUV, it is yet uncertain if it will be the one sold in Thailand or in Indonesian market.
