Interested buyers can pre-book the new Ford Aspire facelift by paying an initial sum of Rs 11,000.

Ford will launch the new Aspire facelift in India on October 4, 2018. Ahead of its launch, bookings for the compact sedan are officially open. Interested buyers can pre-book the car by paying an initial sum of Rs 11,000.

Talking about changes, the Aspire facelift gets a new grille, which is surrounded by chrome, and new fog lamp housings. The headlamp design is the same, but it now gets smoked effect. It still misses out on LED daytime running lights. The front and rear bumpers have been revised as well. Ford Aspire Facelift Revealed

Big changes are offered inside the cabin. It gets the Freestyle’s new dashboard with a new 6.5-inch touchscreen display. This display comes with Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system, which is likely to support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The sedan gets features like push-button start, twin USB ports, multi-functional steering wheel and an automatic climate control. The top-spec model will receive six airbags and ABS with EBD.

Similar to the new Freestyle, the new Aspire gets a newly developed 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Dragon petrol engine. This engine offers segment-leading 96bhp of power and 120Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels come as standard. Instead of a six-speed DCT unit, the Aspire facelift could receive a new 6-speed torque convertor. The current model is available in the price bracket of Rs 5.82 lakh- Rs 8.56 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With added features and new petrol engine, the new Aspire is expected to be priced at a slight premium over the current model. The new model will take on the likes of Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and the new Honda Amaze.
