The Italian superbike manufacturer, Ducati had launched the Panigale V4 in India in January 2018. While the standard V4 version of the superbike made available at Rs 20.53 lakh, the V4 S varaint was priced at Rs 25.29 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi). Initially, the company allotted only 20 units of the bike which were sold in just 8 days. Deliveries of the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 will be commenced in July, 2018.
Demand of the superbike is still high among enthusiasts. Therefore, the company has re-opened bookings for catering the pending requests. Prices of the bike remain unchanged. Just so you know, the new Ducati Panigale V4 had its global debut at 2017 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan.
Commenting on the re-launch, Managing Director of Ducati India, Sergi Canovas said: “The overwhelming response which the Panigale V4 has received, even before the start of deliveries, is a testament of its domination in the Superbike segment and we are delighted to announce the reopening of bookings to cater to the pending customers’ requests that we’ve collected so far.”
Power for the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 comes from a 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine generating power worth 211bhp at 13,000rom and 122Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. The Panigale is the company’s first production bike to feature a four-cylinder, V4 engine layout derived from the MotoGP Desmosedici. Transmission duties on the superbike are performed by a 6-speed gearbox. The 2018 model year offers three modes – Street, Sport and Race and along with the new TFT panel. Ducati’s superbike comes with a host of high-end electronics including ABS Cornering Bosh, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Quick Shift Up and Down, Ducati Slide Control and Ducati Wheelie Control. Read About – Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer
The superbike also gets Ducati Electronic Suspension and Engine Brake Control. Suspension mechanism includes Ohlins unit with the Smart EC 2.0 system and all-new Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers. The Panigale V4 S variant comes with forged aluminium wheels and the lithium-ion battery.
