Soon the Hyundai Creta will become the first car in its category to get a sunroof. Though, you have to wait till the second quarter of 2018. Besides the sunroof, the new Hyundai Creta facelift will also get some significant cosmetic and feature upgrades. The sunroof, however, will be reserved for the top-spec variant. The latest spy pictures confirm the details.

The additional sunroof will surely give it an edge over its arch rivals like Renault Duster, Captur and Nissan Terrano that miss out on this feature. The India-spec 2018 Creta will share resemblance with the model that’s currently on sale in the South American markets.

The fresh spy pictures reveal front and rear design of the SUV. The alloy wheel design and colour scheme of the spotted model were similar to the South America-spec version. You will notice major aesthetic updates on the front fascia of the vehicle including a larger hexagonal grille with a thick chrome surround, revised grille and bumper, a new black thin chin and separate fog lamp housing. Read – Hyundai 8-Seater SUV Under Development

Other updates will include 16-inch alloy wheels, slightly revised LED tail lamps and re-designed rear bumper. Interior will also witness some comprehensive updates inspired by new Verna and Elite i20. As of now, the feature details are scanty. Though, it will see addition of some new features.

Under the hood, the new Creta will retain the existing engine setup – a 1.4-litre diesel, a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel unit.
