Priced at Rs 31.98 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi, the new 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid facelift gets cosmetic upgrades to exterior and interior.

Toyota, the Japanese automaker has silently launched the Camry hybrid facelift and the new Prius hybrid in the Indian car market. The 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid is priced at Rs 31.98 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi and the bookings of the sedan have already commenced at Toyota dealerships across India. The Camry Hybrid also qualifies to receive a markdown of Rs. 70,000 in its price under the FAME (Faster Adoption & Manufacturing of Electric cars) scheme and the benefit is passed onto the customer.

It is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine coupled to an electric motor that produces a total system output of 205PS. The new Camry Hybrid is equipped with Electronically- Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission that is claimed to have highly responsive performance and high fuel efficiency. The sedan is claimed to return a mileage of 19.16kmpl (as certified by test Agency under rule 115 of CMVR, 1989 under standard test conditions). The 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid facelift is equipped with a range of safety and security features. Talking about exterior changes, the new 2017 Toyota Camry gets new LED fog lamps and headlamps, bigger 15-inch alloy wheels and slightly revised taillamp. It also gets auto folding and reverse linked outside rear view mirrors with memory function. The cabin of the sedan largely remains the same, except for the few feature additions. It comes equipped with reclining rear seats, an all-new premium audio system with 12 JBL speakers, Navigation and an all-new wireless smartphone charger (for compatible models).

The interior also gets zebra wood finish while the high density dashboard and acoustic windshield glass are claimed to have reduced the engine noise. The sedan is available in six exciting exterior paint jobs – True Blue Mica Metallic, Silver Metallic, While Pearl Crystal Shine, Attitude Black, Gray Metallic and Dark Brown Mica Metallic.
