In India, the new Mercedes-Benz GLA will see a release towards the end of this year.

2017 will be an action-packed year for Mercedes Benz. The German luxury car manufacturer has begun the year with the unveiling of the new Mercedes Benz GLA at the North American International Motor Show in Detroit. For 2017, the SUV has received minor updates on both exterior and interior. Mechanically, however, it remains unchanged. The 2017 Mercedes GLA will arrive in the Indian market towards the end f this year.
On the exterior, the new GLA facelift gets revised bumpers, new design grille and re-designed alloy wheels. Instead of the optional bi-xenon units, the SUV gets multibeam LED headlamps. The interior receives more upgrades than the exterior. There are new seat covers, a new Black Ash wood trim (instead of Burl Walnut) and chrome finish on the electric seat controls and centre console stowage compartment surround. Other changes include a 360-degree camera, more prominent nozzle rings and keyless entry. The 2017 Mercedes GLA range gets a new top-range variant – Yellow Night Edition. Painted in black colour with yellow highlights, this new edition looks quite sporty.

In India, the 2017 Mercedes GLA might continue to come with the same set of petrol and diesel engines. The performance version of the SUV- AMG GLA 45 – gets the same 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. This motor makes 371bhp of power and 474.5Nm of torque.
