The country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India has re-launched the limited edition of the Ertiga MPV. For people not in the known, Maruti had launched the same Ertiga Limited Edition last year. Similar to the previous model, the new special edition is based on the VXi and VDi variants and are priced at Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 9.71 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The new model has been introduced to clear the stocks of the current generation model. This indicates that Maruti will aim to clear existing stocks before introducing the all-new 2018 Ertiga. As far as the exterior changes are concerned, the 2018 Maruti Ertiga Limited Edition gets new alloy wheels, chrome fog-lamp bezel and chrome body side moulding.  Changes on the inside include glistening accent finish, premium seat covers, front seat armrest, dual-tone steering cover, white ambient light and cushion pillows. Since this is only a limited edition, there are no changes made to its engine. The Ertiga continues to feature the same 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre SHVS diesel. While the petrol mill produces 91bhp at 6000rpm and 130Nm at 4000rpm, the diesel mill is good for 89bhp at 4000rpm and 200Nm at 1750rpm.
