2017 Honda Unicorn 160 comes with an updated BSIV engine and a few cosmetic upgrades.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), today, introduced the 2017 CB Unicorn 160 with minor design updates and a BS-IV engine. Priced at Rs 73,552 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2017 Honda CB Unicorn 160 is the first bike in its segment to get a BSIV complaint engine and Automatic Headlights On (AHO). While the new model remains mechanically unchanged, it comes with a new paint scheme.

Styling updates that have been made on the bike includes a new longer visor, Automatic Headlights On (first-in-segment) and new body graphics. The 2017 Honda CB Unicorn 160 also gets a new Matte Marvel Blue shade. It also continues to be available with the regular colour options – Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Amazing White and Matte Axis Grey. The new graphics come as standard fitment on the Pearl Igneous Black and Imperial Red Metallic models.

The 2017 Honda Unicorn 160 relies on the same 162.71cc, single-cylinder engine benefited by Honda Eco Technology (HET). The new BSIV compliant motor churns out a peak power of 13.82bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.92Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. While, the BSIII compliant version was capable of producing 14.5bhp with 14.61Nm.

Similar to the old model, the 2017 Honda Unicorn 160 comes equipped with Combined Braking System (CBS). Based on the diamond frame, the bike rides on the same 80/100-17 up front and 110/80-17 rear tyres. For braking purpose, there are 240mm disc and 130mm drum brakes.
