Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the 2017 model year of its popular scooter – Activa i – in the country. Priced at Rs 47,913 (ex-showroom Delhi), the 2017 Honda Activa i receives Auto Headlamp On (AHO) feature and BS4 complaint engine.
Besides this, the company also introduced four new dual-tone shades – Imperial Red Metallic, Orchid Purple Metallic, Neo Orange Metallic and Lush Magenta Metallic – and a Black colour on the vehicle. The scooter also gets body colour mirrors as add-ons. Read – Honda Navi Scoot Coming Soon To India
2017 Honda Activa i Price in India
The 2017 model year of the Honda Activa i is slightly more expensive than the old model. While the previous version was priced at Rs 44,200, the updated model comes with a price tag of Rs 47,913 (all, ex-showroom Delhi).

Power for the 2017 Activa i comes from the same 109.19cc, 4-stroke air-cooled engine boosted with Honda Eco Technology (HET). Paired to a V-Match gearbox, this BS4-compliant motor churns out a top power of 8bhp at 7,000rpm against 8.94Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. 2017 Honda Activa i Design Changes
Sitting on the under bone frame, the new Activa i retains its original design and dimensions. Though, the updated model comes with Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature that improve visibility in fog, dusk and dawn conditions. The body-coloured mirrors are also new on the vehicle. Other key features include stylish decals, tubeless tyres, sharp tail lamp and optional mobile charging socket.
The Activa i comes fitted with combined braking system (CBS) with equalizer. There is 18-litre underseat storage space. Honda is also offering a range of accessories including guard kit-stainless steel, black powder coating, body cover, saree step, grip cover options, seat cover (Met Silver & Deluxe Black and Deluxe Black), side stand, designer helmet for women, mat floor, inner box and rack and mud flap.
