Renault, the French automaker has launched the Adventure Edition of the 2016 Renault Duster SUV in the Indian market. As a reminder, the facelifted Duster was unveiled at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The 2016 Renault Duster Adventure Edition is now priced at Rs 9.64 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. It is available in both the diesel versions- 85PS and 110PS. Only the 110PS AWD version is offered with the Adventure Kit, while the manual and AMT FWD versions are devoid of it.

The exterior of the Adventure Edition features chrome appliques and glossy black finished grille and the licensing plate. Other design elements include body cladding along with fog lamps, a compass decal on the D pillar, roof rails and mustard yellow front faux skid plate. It also gets ‘Adventure’ branding. The vehicle also has gun metal alloy wheels with new wheel arches. It is available in two exterior paint jobs – Outback Bronze and Slate Grey.
Inside the cabin, the Renault Duster Adventure Edition gets denim upholstery, black fabric on door trims with contrasting stitching, dual-tone steering wheel and denim trimmings on floor mats. It comes with Eco mode option that delivers up to 10 per cent more fuel efficiency. Multi-functional steering wheel is available as standard. While the 85PS model has touchscreen infotainment system devoid of navigation, the 110PS variant has an inbuilt navigation system.
Adding to it, the Duster Adventure Edition gets Renault’s new optional app – SmartDrive. This application feeds live information on your smartphone via a Bluetooth dongle, which allows driver to record the fastest 0-60kmph time, over-speeding warnings and other details.
2016 Renault Duster Adventure Edition Specifications
The Adventure Edition is powered by the same 1.5-litre DCi diesel engine that also powers the regular Duster. This engine offers two states of tunes 83.8bhp/200Nm and 108.45bhp/245Nm. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed AMT (Automated Manual).
