Ultra luxury carmaker, Porsche has launched the new generation Cayenne in the Indian car market. The updated SUV is available in four versions- the Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S Diesel, Cayenne S and the Cayenne Turbo. The new Cayenne price starts at Rs. 1.04 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The diesel version of the new Cayenne is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine that is capable of producing 245bhp of power and 550Nm of peak torque. It does 0-100kmph in just 7.6 seconds and hits a top speed of 218kmph. The Cayenne S Diesel has the 4.2-litre V8 engine producing 385bhp and 850Nm of torque. It accelerates to 100kmph from zero in mere 5.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 252kmph.
The Cayenne S is propelled by the all-new 3.6-litre V6 bi-turbo engine that develops 420bhp of power. Paired to an eight-speed Tiptronic S Transmission, the Cayenne S sprints to 0-100kmph in just 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 259kmph. The top-spec Cayenne Turbo gets the powerful 4.8-litre bi-turbo V8 engine that produces 520bhp. It accelerates from zero to 100kmph in a mere 4.5 seconds, and remains stable at a top speed of 279kmph.

The new Porsche Cayenne gets visual makeover to exteriors, while the interior gets additional features. It features a newly developed front fascia, outside rear view mirrors, bonnet and air dams. The grille is flanked by bi-xenon headlamps with four-point LED daytime running lights. At the back, the SUV features new tail lamps that create a three-dimensional effect with the brake light designed in four elements. The boot lid has new enclosure for licensing plate, boot handle and lights. It also gets newly developed exhaust tailpipes, and automatically activating boot lid.
The interiors of the Cayenne facelift gets new multi-functional sport steering wheel with shift paddles. The rear seats get optional seat ventilation system. As standard, the SUV features like air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, Porsche Entry and Drive, four-zone auto climate control and panorama sunroof.
