Mitsubishi has launched the 2015 Lancer sedan in the US market which received a series of updates. The Mitsubishi Lancer is offered in four variants- ES, SE, GT and Ralliart. [Also Read: Mitsubishi Attrage- Preview]
The entry level Lancer ES is equipped with a new continuously-variable transmission (CVT) which makes it highly fuel efficient with an EPA-estimated 34mpg highway (14.45kmpl). Customers will also have option to add new Value package that adds revised instrumentation, Bluetooth connectivity and chrome interior door handles, soft touch upper door trim, rear disc brakes and new designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The mid-level Lancer SE AWC is equipped with additional features such as “sport” front fascia, restyled 16-inch alloys, fog lamps. It also gets six-speaker music system, Bluetooth compatibility and redone instrument panel. The Mitsubishi Lancer GT remains unchanged; however, the company has added contrasting stitching on the seats and doors. It also gets HID headlights, a sunroof and nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate premium audio system.
The Lancer Ralliart gets all the features that are available in the other variants. Other features include rain sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and white contrast stitching and 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark finish.
