Honda has unveiled the European-spec 2015 CR-V facelift, which is scheduled to be launched in the Indian car market next year. Showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show as concept, the updated CR-V facelift gets changes to both exteriors and interiors; however, the exterior updates are very subtle.
The exteriors of the updated SUV features a new front grill, headlamps, new front and rear bumpers, skid plates and tail lights. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to newly designed alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the 2015 Honda CR-V has new app-rich infotainment system. Named as Honda Connect, the system comprises of a seven-inch touchscreen system that allows passenger to pair their mobile phones via Bluetooth. It also works as a display for rear view camera, satellite navigation, internet radio and display for fuel efficiency and journey time. There is a lot of chrome treatment for dashboard to add premium touch, while the front seats get sliding arm rests.
The 2015 Honda CR-V facelift is available in both petrol and diesel fuel options. The oil burner is the 1.6-litre i-DTEC that offers two states of tunes- 120PS and 160PS. The higher state of tune model is also available with an all-wheel drive layout and is coupled to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The gasoline model has two engine options- 2-litre and 2.4-litre.
