2015 Honda CR-V facelift

Japanese car manufacturer, Honda will launch the new CR-V facelift next year. The vehicle has been spotted several times during its test rounds. An official image of the new 2015 CR-V SUV has hit the web-world ahead of its launch in 2015.

Going by the picture, the facelifted Honda CR-V SUV features a new front façade with modified bumper. Newly designed grille flanked by projector beam headlights with integrated LED elements. The side profile of the crossover gets subtle changes to keep things fresh. It now features new mirrors with integrated turn indicators while the flared wheel arches have been fitted to new dual-tone alloy wheels.

The rear profile of the updated Honda CR-V gets slightly tweaked bumper, taillight and trunk door. Inside, the crossover likely to gets some changes to keep it refreshing in the market. It is expected to get some additional gizmos to play with.

The technical specifications of the Honda CR-V facelift are likely to remain unchanged. It will likely to get the same 4-cylinder petrol and diesel units. The European model would feature a 1.6-litre i-DTEC motor producing 118bhp and 330Nm of torque and the 2.2-litre i-DTEC engine rated at 148bhp and 349Nm of torque. The petrol version will continue with a 2.0-litre i-VTEC engine outputting 148bhp and 192Nm of torque.

Honda India is also planning to launch the updated CR-V in the Indian car market in 2016. It is also expected that the diesel version of the SUV would also make its way to the market.
