Japanese car manufacturer Nissan will launch the 2014 Sunny facelift in India on July 3rd– sources revealed. The company has already started conducting media drives for the sedan. Unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, the Nissan Sunny has received changes to both interiors and exteriors which make it look refreshing.

The front fascia of the Nissan Sunny gets new grille surrounded by chrome which is complemented by large headlamps. The front bumper has been tweaked which accommodates new fog lamp assembly with chrome embellishments. At the sides, the vehicle gets electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators and newly designed alloy wheels. The rear end of the sedan looks identical to the current model; however, the lower bumper now features black plastic insert.

Inside the cabin, the facelifted Sunny gets a Piano black centre console, leather upholstery on top spec models, multi-functional steering wheel, smart keyless entry, engine start/stop button, a touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, automatic climate control and others. The Nissan Sunny is likely to get ABS and driver side airbag as standard features.

Under the hood, the new Sunny will get the same 98PS, 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 85PS, 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine. The manual and XTRONIC CVT gearbox are there too.
