2014 Maruti Swift facelift features revealed- Video

Ahead of its official launch in November, new details on the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift have been revealed on the internet. The fresh video of the 2014 model reveals maximum details about the interiors & exteriors. We reported earlier that dealers have already started taking bookings for the Swift facelift at a token amount of Rs. 10,000, while deliveries are promised in early November.

The video features the top-spec diesel variant of the Swift, which lacks daytime running LED lights available in the international version. It features automatic headlamps, slightly tweaked grille and new front bumper, new allows and reverse parking sensors. The other addition includes keyless entry with Push start/stop button, auto-up down function for driver window, electrically adjustable & retractable outside rear view mirrors, etc.

Under the hood, the new Swift will sport the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines. While the gasoline model produces 86bhp and 114Nm of torque, the oil burner is good for 75bhp and 190Nm of torque. The company has tuned both motors, which makes it 10 per cent more fuel efficient. The ARAI fuel efficiency of the petrol version stands at 20.4kmpl and 25.2kmpl for diesel.

The Swift facelift L trim is equipped with air conditioning and power steering. The mid-level variant, V, is loaded with features like new music system with speed sensing auto-sound, electrically retractable & adjustable ORVMs, new wheel caps, Anti-Lock Braking system and others. The top-of-the line Z trim features i-Key entry, cruise control, new alloy wheels, reverse parking sensors, automatic climate control, and steering mounted audio controls.
