Fiat India has confirmed the launch of Punto Evo facelift in the country on August 5. The updated Punto has already reached the dealerships for customer previews. The company has thoroughly modified the Punto and is equipped with high end features.
The Fiat Punto Evo has an all-new front fascia with new grille which is larger in size and gets rounded-off edges. It has single bar of chrome and chromed outline that runs across the front which is complemented by sweptback headlamps. The new bumper has new fog lamp assembly with large chromed surrounds. It is equipped with newly designed multi-spoke alloys and chrome inserts on door handles. The rear profile gets revised tail lamps and bumper with chrome and new stop lamps.
The updated Fiat Punto Evo will be offered in total of seven variants in three engine options. It will come in four trim levels- Active, Dynamic, Emotion and Sport; however, the Sport variant is only limited to performance variant powered by the tried & trusted 1.3-litre Advanced Multi-Jet engine producing 90bhp. The standard diesel model gets the 1.3-litre multi-jet engine that develops 75PS, and is available in three variants- Active, Dynamic and Emotion.
The Punto Evo petrol gets two engine options- 1 67bhp, 1.2-litre and 90bhp, 1.4-litre engine. The base petrol will be offered in Active and Emotion trims, while the top-spec 90bhp engine is only offered with emotion trim. The Fiat Punto Evo is offered in seven exciting exterior shades- Glitternti Gold, Magnesio Grey, Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, Hip Hop Black, Vocal White and Tuscan Wine. When it comes to safety, the top-spec model has Anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, dual airbags and others.
