2 New Royal Enfield 350cc Bikes Confirmed; Based On Classic 350

Royal Enfield is all set to launch the all-new Hunter 350 motorcycle on 7th August 2022. During the media briefing event, the two-wheeler maker has confirmed that it’s working on two new 350cc bikes that will be based on the Classic 350. While one of them will be the new-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350, details of the second model are still under the wraps. Though, the company showed silhouette of the second model that’s likely to have single-piece seat. It could be placed against the Jawa Perak bobber.

Recently, the final production version of the new 2022 Royal Enfield Bullet was caught on camera without any camouflage revealing its design details. While its original silhouette and retro-styled design bits remain intact, the bike gets chrome treatment around the headlamp, taillamp and rear view mirrors. It has a new single piece seat, which is expected to offer better lumber support.

For power, the new-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will use the 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine sourced from the Meteor. The motor, with a 5-speed manual gearbox, returns a claimed power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The bike will have the conventional telescopic forks upfront and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking power will come from the front disc and rear drum brakes. The new Bullet is likely to be offered with the single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Talking about the soon-to-be-launched RE Hunter, the bike underpins the brand’s new J-Series 350cc platform. It’s the same chassis that’s used in the RE Meteor. Though, the company says it has been modified to ensure different riding experience. Some of its key highlights include a tripper navigation pod (optional), an off-set instrument console, round headlamp, turn indicators and taillamps, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, upswept tail and exhaust and more.

More details on the upcoming Royal Enfield 350cc bikes are likely to be revealed in near future. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
