14 New MG Cars To Unveil At 2020 Auto Expo

MG Motor India has confirmed that it will showcase a range of future mobility solutions at the 2020 Auto Expo that’s slated to begin from 5th February. The carmaker’s pavilion will highlight internet, electric and autonomous vehicles along with 14 new models across different segment. The carmaker has also released a teaser image that looks like SAIC’s Roewe Vision-I autonomous concept that first broke cover at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. Designed for the 5G era, the MG Roewe Vision-I concept is claimed to the world’s first “SPV” intelligent active interactive car of a new category.

The MG’s lineup at Auto Expo is likely to include the 6-seater version of the MG Hector. Reports suggest that the SUV’s bigger version will be named ‘MG Hector Plus’. It will come with the 3-row seating configuration featuring the captain seats on the second row. Compared to 5-seater Hector, the Hector Plus will be 40mm longer.

The MG ZS EV, that’s slated to launch on 27th January, will also put up on display at the biennial event. The British carmaker might also showcase the re-badged version of the Baojun RS-3 compact SUV. It’s reported to launch against the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. The MG Maxus D90 7-seater SUV might also make its India debut at the 2020 Auto Expo.
