Kia Seltos has been the highest selling SUV in its segment ever since its launch in India. The compact SUV registered a total sales of 12,800 units in the month of October, 2019. In August and September, the Korean carmaker managed to sell 6,236 units and 7,754 units of the Seltos respectively. The range-topping GTX variant is high in demand. It comes with both 1.4L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L diesel engines paired to an automatic gearbox.
The Kia Seltos carline comes in two trims – Tech Line and GT Line – spread across 18 variants with 3 engine and 4 gearbox options. The 1.4L GDI turbo petrol motor delivers a claimed power of 138bhp with 242Nm of torque. It can be had either with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre NA petrol engine is good enough for 113bhp and 144Nm of peak torque. This gasoline unit comes with a 6-speed manual and an IVT (Intelligent continuously variable transmission) automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre VGT diesel generates a peak power of 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. The oil burner is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
