In order to celebrate 20 years of its existence in the Indian market, Hyundai India has launched the special edition of its popular model – Hyundai Xcent. Called the Hyundai Xcent 20th Anniversary Special Edition, is available only on the S trim in both petrol and diesel variants. While the petrol version is priced at Rs 6.22 lakh, the diesel model costs Rs 7.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Only 2,400 units of the Hyundai Xcent 20th Anniversary Special Edition will be sold in the country.

On the outside, the Hyundai Xcent 20th Anniversary Special Edition features a chromed-highlighted front grille, side body decals, rear spoiler with integrated brake light and boot lid with a reflector strip and Hyundai’s “20th Anniversary Special Edition’ badge. The car also gets additional chrome detailing at the rear profile. Since the special edition is available only on the ‘S’ trim, it is assembled with steel wheels. Inside the cabin, the Xcent special edition gets a 6.2-inch Blaupunkt touchscreen infotainment system and new black and red dual-tone fabric upholstery instead of the regular 2-DIN audio system and beige and black upholstery.

The Hyundai Xcent 20th Anniversary Special Edition is continue feature the very same 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder Kappa Dual VTVT petrol and the 1.1-liter, 3-cylinder U2 CRDi diesel engine options. While the former is capable to produce a maximum power of 82bhp with 113.7 Nm of torque, the latter one delivers 71bhp and 180.4 Nm of torque. Transmission on offer are the same 5-speed manual. Mileage figures of the Hyundai Xcent stand at 19.1kmpl for petrol version and 24.4kmpl for diesel model.
